Hello friend,

I no longer design or build websites. Sorry, but the competition is too great and the various complexities of each client's needs makes it hard to establish a true end price up front, if the new website is truly custom and over 50 pages. Box and Template websites are all over the place and many for free. Free is good, but it may not be what a client wants nor fulfill their needs. Customers change their minds a lot of times, creating a lot of extra work and time to incorporate. Time is money, but most people do not want to pay for added work that they ask us to do. Competition from foreign countries is intense, since they are willing to work for pennies on the dollar. The problem I have found is that they often do not speak very good English, or if they do then their grammar and sentence structure is poor. You cannot find these people, they are hidden behind an Iron Curtin or inaccessible..., in other words you cannot sue them for mal-practice nor can you get your money back if not satisfied.

Strategy is very important also in web-design, so as to not get "the cart ahead of the horse" ....as they say. For those who just want a basic site for personal or small business purposes they can get a Word-Press site. For companies who want to RULE their industry or want to at least "be seen" on page one, there is a whole different set of problems to resolve, and I do not mean just SEO.

Psychological impact is also very important. You want your visitors captivated the very moment they arrive on your Landing Page..., they need to be drawn in. You have maybe...three seconds! Especially Americans as very much speed freaks. We want w at we want, and we want it yesterday. So, you need a "call to action" landing page, which will get the visitor/user to the next page.

There is SO much more to say, but I am working on a personal new .com site that is going Nationwide for my own gratification and to achieve some of my other goals which are on my bucket list. - Whom do I recommend? Maybe the guys who are doing my website, but they need to finish my project before I toll their bell.  :-)
